The diaphragm sealed pressure gauge is a pressure instrument specially designed to measure media with special properties (such as highly corrosive, high temperature, high viscosity, easy to crystallize, easy to solidify or with solid floating objects, etc.). This pressure gauge combines the advantages of diaphragm isolators and general pressure gauges, and achieves accurate measurement of complex media pressure through unique structure and working principle.
The core component of the diaphragm sealed pressure gauge is the diaphragm isolator, which is usually made of corrosion-resistant and elastic materials (such as stainless steel, silicone, etc.). As an elastic element, the diaphragm will deform when it is subjected to the pressure of the measured medium. This deformation is the natural reaction of elastic materials under pressure, which can convert the medium pressure into mechanical displacement or deformation.
In order to convert the deformation of the diaphragm into a readable pressure value, a set of precise mechanical connection devices are designed inside the diaphragm sealed pressure gauge. This set of devices may include springs, connecting rods and other components, which transmit the deformation of the diaphragm to the spring tube through physical connection. The spring tube is a special elastic element, which will produce corresponding elastic deformation at its end after receiving the pressure signal. This degree of deformation is proportional to the pressure of the measured medium, so it can be used to indicate the pressure.
In order to further improve the accuracy and stability of the measurement, the diaphragm sealed pressure gauge is usually filled with a sealing liquid as a pressure transmission medium. The choice of sealing liquid depends on the nature of the measured medium and the measurement requirements. It can not only isolate the measured medium from the general pressure instrument to prevent sediment accumulation or easy cleaning, but also accurately transmit the deformation of the diaphragm to the spring tube through the incompressibility of the liquid.
When the spring tube is deformed by pressure, it drives the gear shaft of the movement to rotate through the connecting rod mechanism. The rotation of the gear shaft further drives the pointer to move on the dial, thereby indicating the measured pressure value. This process realizes the conversion of the medium pressure into a readable pressure indication, allowing the operator to intuitively understand the pressure condition of the measured medium.
Due to its unique structure and material selection, the diaphragm sealed pressure gauge can adapt to various harsh measurement environments. Whether it is high temperature, high pressure, strong corrosion or easy to crystallize and solidify medium, the diaphragm sealed pressure gauge can provide accurate and reliable measurement. This makes it widely used in chemical, petroleum, pharmaceutical, food and other industries.
